    FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTY ON WATER SOFTENER For one year from the date of purchase, when this water softener is installed and maintained in accordance with our instructions, Sears will repair, free of charge, defects in material or workmanship in this water softener. For ten years from the date of purchase, Sears will furnish and install a new current model water softener tank or salt storage drum, free of charge, if either the tank or drum develop a leak.
