In the case of fractional numerals only, it is
not necessary to press the

1. Slide forward the power switch which
is
sit·
uated on the left side of the Palmtronic.
2. Confirm the position of the battery check-
er. If the need

is
poi nting to

the bl ue
section, it means there
is
sufficient volt-
age.
If the needle points to the red sec-
tion, recharge the battery or replace
it
with
a new one.
Correct
results
cannot be
obtained with the Palmtronic
if
it
is
oper-
ated when the needle is pointing to the
red section

3. Press the

key. The
"H"
in the display

window will change to "0" and operation
can be started.
