Turn and Lane-Change Signals
An arrow
G
on the instrument panel cluster will flash
in the direction of the turn or lane change.
Move the lever all the way up or down to signal a turn.
Raise or lower the lever until the arrow starts to flash
to signal a lane change. Hold it there until the lane
change is completed.
The lever returns to its starting position whenever it is
released.
If after signaling a turn or a lane change the arrow
flashes rapidly or does not come on, a signal bulb may
be burned out.
Have the bulbs replaced. If the bulb is not burned out,
check the fuse. See Bulb Replacement on page 5-41
and Fuses and Circuit Breakers on page 5-98.
For vehicles with the trailer towing option with added
wiring for the trailer lamps, the signal indicator flashes at
a normal rate even if a turn signal bulb is burned out.
Check the front and rear turn signal lamps regularly
to make sure they are working.
