Before Adjustment for optical components.
1. Each adjustment requires a set of ball allen wrenches and slot
screwdrivers. Moreover, convergence adjustment requires
convergence adjustment tool " Convergence Adjuster ". The
convergence adjustment tool can be ordered. See following
figure.
2. Set the position of projection lens to the center position with
Lens Shift Button on Top Control or Remote Control Unit.
(Refer to " lens shift adjustment " on owner's manual.)
3. The mode of "service adjustment" is equipped with the
image of test pattern. Use it, when you adjust the focus and
convergence of the LCD Panel.
a) Enter the mode of "service adjustment". Refer to page 35.
b) Select Group number " 998 ".
2 screws are contained in this adjuster package. (For adjuster mounting)
Convergence Adjuster :
The convergence adjustment tool can be ordered as follows.

c) Select Item number " 0 ".
d) Press the POINT LEFT (<) or RIGHT (>) buttons, and
each color grid pattern is displayed.
e) Press power button once to quit the mode of "service
adjustment".
4. Follow the following procedure when you adjust the lenses
Relay and R-filter.
a) Remove the connectors K8E, K8V and the flexible cables
of the LCD panels from the assembly Main. (Note : Don't
touch the electrodes on flexible cables.)
b) As shown in a figure, Set the assembly Main to the upright
position. (Note : Don't short-circuit assembly Main with
the chassis. Protect assembly Main using an insulator.)
