Protection equipment for users
Protection equipment for lamp replacement :
The Lamp circuit (the lamp and the electrode of the lamp socket) of
this projector is not insulated from AC line, and it is "HOT".
Therefore, an electric shock may be received when you replace the
lamp assembly. However, this projector is designed to protect you from
the accident. This switch(SW902) insulates a lamp circuit from AC
line when lamp cover is removed. (The lamp circuit is changed to
"COLD" by this switch.)
The note for the service personnel about the
repair of the projector :
Remember that the interlock switch is opened during dis-
assembling the cabinet. The projector can't be turned on.
(Some of the service personnel forget it often.) When you
want to turn on the projector without cabinet, press and
hold the lever of the interlock switch.
