• When "Alarm action" is selected for "Mode" of
"Advanced face matching alarm setup" (☞ page 58), the
sequential display will not be performed. Instead, images
from the camera whose number is the smallest among
the cameras selected for "Camera selection" will be dis-
played.

Configure other settings relating to monitors [Advanced setup]

Configure other monitor settings such as the eco. monitor function and monitor audio output.
The eco. monitor function is designed to reduce the energy consumption of the main monitor by measures such as reducing its
brightness in normal operation, turning off the backlight, and increasing the brightness when an alarm occurs or in other cases.
■ Eco. monitor function
Set up the eco. monitor function for the brightness and
backlight of the main monitor.
(The eco. monitor function is not applicable to the live moni-
tor.)
The eco. monitor function will be activated under the follow-
ing circumstances:
• When this unit is connected to a Panasonic wide LCD
color monitor (WV-LW1900, WV-LW1900/G,
WV-LW2200, WV-LW2200/G: option)
• When no operations are performed with the mouse or
with the buttons on the recorder's front panel
• When alarm reset or error reset is not performed
• When the recorder is not accessed in any other way
* Regardless of the eco. mode setting and status of the
connected monitor, the control from the recorder will be
given priority.
[Decrease luminance]
Determine whether or not to reduce the brightness of the
main monitor when the conditions for activation of the eco.
monitor function are given.
If the brightness is to be reduced, set the delay between the
point in time where the conditions are met and the point
where the brightness will actually be reduced.
Off/ After 1 min/ After 3 mins/ After 5 mins/ After 10 mins
Default: Off (Brightness will not be reduced)
[Backlight off]
Determine whether or not to turn off the backlight of the
main monitor when the conditions for activation of the eco.
monitor function are given.
If the backlight is to be turned off, set the delay between the
point in time where the conditions are met and the point
where the backlight is actually turned off.
Off/ After 15 mins/ After 30 mins/ After 1 hour/
After 3 hours
Default: Off (Backlight will not be turned off)
The brightness and the backlight will be reset by any mouse
operation or operation of the buttons on the recorder's front
panel (operations on the web browser of the PC will not
reset the function). The function can also be reset as follows:
• Marking the checkbox for [Recover the luminance at an
alarm occurrence] will reset brightness and backlight in
the alarm state.
• Marking the checkbox for [Recover the luminance at an
error occurrence] will reset brightness and backlight in
the error state.
■ Audio output camera
The camera channel whose audio is output from the record-
er will be fixed. To fix the camera channel, select the camera
whose audio is to be output from the recorder.
Selected camera: Does not fix the camera channel. (The
recorder will output the audio of the camera whose
images are being displayed.)
Cam.1 - Cam.16: Fixes the camera channel. (The
recorder will always output the audio of the selected
camera.)
Default: Selected camera
■ Other setup
[Display live camera image in high resolution (SXVGA)
on 1-screen display]
Mark the checkbox to display the camera images in the
SXVGA size on a 1-screen or the left-side segment of a
3-screen. Refer to the "readme.txt" for compatible cameras.
[Auto-hide the status display panel and the operation
panel in wide view]
Mark the checkbox to display or hide the status display
panel and the operation panel in wide view in association
with whether the mouse cursor is displayed or hidden.
[Divide the live camera image positions equally in wide
view]
Mark the checkbox to display the live images on the screen
segments equally divided in wide view.
The aspect ratio of 4:3 or 16:9 can be selected for layout.
