Install the external sensor as follows:
> Mark the position on the wall. Observe the cable rout-
ing for the external sensor.
> Route the connection cable (3) on-site with a slight
incline to the outside and with a loop to catch drips.
> Remove the casing cover (5) from the external sensor.
> Drill two holes with 6 mm diameter in accordance
with the mounting holes (1).
> Insert the wall plugs supplied.
> Fix the wall mounting base (4) to the wall with two
screws. The cable entry must point downwards.
> Unfasten the cap nut (2) slightly and push the con-
necting cable through the cable entry from below.
> Connect the external sensor as described in
Section 5.1 for the VRC 693, or as described in
Section 5.2 for the VRC 9535.
> Retighten the cap nut (2). The packing in the cable
entry adapts to the diameter of the cable used (Cable
diameter: 4.5 mm to 10 mm).
> Place the gasket between the wall mounting base and
the housing cover.
> Push the housing cover onto the wall mounting base
until it clicks in position.
