13.14. Transparent Mode Settings
Transp_CAMToL3CDestLearning
Enable this if the firewall should be able to learn the destination for hosts by combining destination
address information and information found in the CAM table.
Default: Enabled
Transp_DecrementTTL
Enable this if the TTL should be decremented each time a packet traverses the firewall in Transpar-
ent Mode.
Default: Disabled
Transparency_CAMSize
This setting can be used to manually configure the size of the CAM table. Normally Dynamic is the
preferred value to use.
Default: Dynamic
Transparency_L3CSize
This setting can be used to manually configure the size of the Layer 3 Cache. Normally Dynamic is
the preferred value to use.
Default: Dynamic
NullEnetSender
Defines what to do when receiving a packet that has the sender hardware (MAC) address in ethernet
header set to null (0000:0000:0000). Options:
Drop - Drop packets
DropLog - Drop and log packets
Default: DropLog
BroadcastEnetSender
Defines what to do when receiving a packet that has the sender hardware (MAC) address in ethernet
header set to the broadcast ethernet address (FFFF:FFFF:FFFF). Options:
Accept - Accept packet
AcceptLog - Accept packet and log
Rewrite - Rewrite to the MAC of the forwarding interface
RewriteLog - Rewrite to the MAC of the forwarding interface and log
Drop - Drop packets
DropLog - Drop and log packets
