number, or specification can be obtained from your
dealer/retailer.
Usage
Engine oil which meets GM
Standard GM6094M and displays
the American Petroleum Institute
Engine Oil
Certified for Gasoline Engines
(Except 6.0L
starburst symbol. To determine the
V8 Engine)
proper viscosity for your vehicle's

page 5-17.

Usage
The engine requires a special
engine oil meeting GM Standard
GM4718M. Oils meeting this
standard can be identified as
synthetic, and should also be
identified with the American
Engine Oil Petroleum Institute (API) Certified
(6.0L V8 for Gasoline Engines starburst
Engine Only) symbol. However, not all synthetic
API oils with the starburst symbol
will meet this GM standard.
Look for and use only an oil that
meets GM Standard GM4718M.

50/50 mixture of clean, drinkable
water and use only DEX-COOL
