20. Use proper size and type extension cord. lf an extension cord is required, it must be of
the proper size and type to supply the correct current to the tool without heating up.
Otherwise, the extension cord could melt and catch fire, or cause electrical damage to
t h e t o o l. T h i s t o o l re q u ire s u se of a n e xte nsion cord of 20 amps m inim um capabil ity (up
to 30 feet), with wire size rated at 10 AWG. Longer extension cords requrre larger size
wire. lf you are using the tool outdoors, use an extension cord rated for outdoor use.
(signified by "WA" on the jacket).
Note: Performance of this tool may vary depending on variations in local line t,oltaEe. Exten-
sion cord usage may also affect tool performance.
