• There may be a discrepancy of several seconds
between the time code and the tape counter.
• Zero set memory will not function correctly if there
is a blank section between recorded sections on the
tape.
Searching for a scene by date of
recording – Date search
You can locate the point where the recording
date changes.

Slide the POWER switch repeatedly to
select the PLAY/EDIT mode.

Press SEARCH M. on the Remote
Commander repeatedly to select
[DATE SEARCH].

Press . (previous)/> (next) on
the Remote Commander to select a
recording date.
Playback starts automatically from the
point where the date changes.
Each time you press the button, the previous
or the next date will be searched for and
displayed.
To cancel the operation
Press STOP on the Remote Commander.
b Notes
• If one day's recording is less than 2 minutes, your
camcorder may not accurately find the point where
the recording date changes.

Searching for a still image
– Photo search
You can locate the still image you have
recorded on a tape.

Slide the POWER switch repeatedly to
select the PLAY/EDIT mode.

Press SEARCH M. on the Remote
Commander repeatedly to select
[PHOTO SEARCH].

Press . (previous)/> (next) on
the Remote Commander to select the
photo for playback.
Playback of the photo starts automatically.
Each time you press the button, the previous
or the next photo will be searched for and
displayed.
To cancel the operation
Press STOP on the Remote Commander.
b Note
• If a tape has a blank section between recorded
sections, the Photo search function may not work
correctly.
