OIL
1 Check oil level
• Turn the engine off.
The dipstick is located on the starboard side
of the engine.

2 Oil level
The oil level must be at or near the upper
mark on the dipstick [1] .
• If necessary top up with the same brand
and type of oil.
[1] The difference between the two oil level
marks is: 1.0 litres (1.8 Imp. pt, 2.1 US pt)

Checking engine oil level

Daily, before starting.

3 Topping up oil
The oil filling cap is on top of the the valve
cover,.
A second oil filling cap is located at the distru-
bution cover, see page 16.
