• If updating software by connecting the
terminal to network directly, you are
recommended to do so in a place with good
signal condition without moving. When the
signal condition is bad, software update may
be interrupted.
• It may take a while to update software
(download and installation of update files).
• While installing the update files for software
update, all functions including making/
receiving phone call will not be available.
• When you cannot perform any operations
because of the failure of the software update,
please take your terminal to DOCOMO-
specified repair office.
Updating software only with the
terminal
You can update the software of the terminal by
connecting network with the terminal.

From the Home screen,
"Settings" → "General" tab → "About
device" → "Software update"

• For the first-time activation, Terms
and conditions and Privacy agreement
appears. Read the contents and then mark
"I accept all the terms above" and then tap
"Confirm".
• If you permit downloading a file only when
connecting via Wi-Fi, mark "Wi-Fi only".
