D: This drive position is for all
normal driving conditions. Allows the
transmission to shift into all 6 forward
gears.
Caution
Do not accelerate while engaging a
gear.
Never depress the accelerator
pedal and brake pedal at the same
time.
When a gear is engaged, the
vehicle slowly begins to creep
when the brake is released.
Do not use the P (Park) position in
place of the parking brake.
Turn off the engine, apply the
parking brake, and remove the
ignition key when leaving the
vehicle.
Never leave the vehicle
unattended while the engine is
running.
Shifting between gear
positions
Shifting between gear positions is as
follows:
Depress the brake pedal and push
release button to shift.

Shifts that require you to push the
release button are indicated by black
arrows.
Push the release button to shift.
White arrows indicate shifts that do
not require you to push the release
button.
