Charging the Battery – More...

The Impres charger and battery are both smart; they talk to each other.

Don't try to charge your battery on a non-Impres charger.

The Impres battery has a preset number of charges it can accept. When
that number is reached, the battery is deactivated and becomes a brick.
Each full charge (charger LED on solid green) increments the counter
and pushes it closer to 'brick' status. Even so, you should get 2.5-3
years out of your two batteries of you alternate them charging each
every other day.

As you will see later, you can check the remaining capacity of your
battery and the estimated number of charges it has had.
