Open the hood, close all doors and
Ÿ
lock the vehicle.
Ÿ
Disconnect the clamp from the
negative terminal of the vehicle
battery. Beware that all systems are
not functional, e.g. anti-theft alarm
system.
Ÿ
Close the hood.
Putting back into operation
When the vehicle is to be put back into
operation:
Connect the clamp to the negative
Ÿ
terminal of the vehicle battery.
Activate the electronics of the
power windows.
Ÿ
Check tire pressure.
Ÿ
Fill up the washer fluid reservoir.
Check the engine oil level.
Ÿ
Check the coolant level.
Ÿ
Ÿ
Fit the number plate if necessary.

SERVICE WORK

Warning
Only perform engine compartment
checks when the ignition is OFF.
The cooling fan may start operating
even if the ignition is OFF.

HOOD

To open the hood:
1. Pull the release lever with this
symbol. It is located below the
instrument panel to the right of the
steering wheel.
2. Go to the front of the vehicle and lift
up on the secondary hood release
lever.
3. Lift the hood.
