Quick Start Guide — SW VGArs / Ars Series
Install and operate the SW VGArs / Ars Series switchers as follows:
Step 1
Turn all of the equipment off and disconnect it from the power
source.
Step 2
Mount the switcher in a rack or furniture, or place on a desktop.
Step 3
Connect up to six video input cables,
depending on the switcher model.
(Ars models only) Connect up to six audio
input cables, depending on the switcher
model.
Step 4
Connect the video output cable.

Step 6
Connect an RS-232 OR contact closure
controller. Wire the connector as shown
in the table at right.
Step 7
Connect power cords and turn on the
equipment in the following order:
output devices (projectors, monitors,
speakers), SW VGArs Series switcher,
contact closure/RS-232 controller, and
input devices (computers, audio
sources).
