    Your UH710SX-NB/UH720SX-NB pack includes 3 AA rechargeable NiMH batteries to power the unit. You must install and then charge the batteries for 15 hrs before use. The UH710SX-NB/UH720SX-NB can also use 3 AA Alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries to avoid damage to the unit.

    NOTE Scanning The UH710SX-NB/UH720SX-NB has two types of scanning; Open Scanning (OS) and Group Scanning (GS), OS Scan searches all the channels and frequencies in its memory continuously. GS Scan is similar to OS scan but has the added ability to monitor the priority channel every 1.5 seconds.
