Select Switch
Whe n pressed, this switch connects the specific
TAPE R ET U R N to the corresponding TAP E
MONITOR section, a llows access of the re tur n
ing signal to the M E T E R , and provides signal to
a specific AUX SEND control. If the returning
signal is not chosen, the switch re places the
TAPE signal with that of the PROG RAM. Thus,
the MON ITOR and A U X sends can re ceive and
process signals from e i ther of the TAPE R E
T U R NS or the PROG RAM.

AUX 3,AUX 4 Send Controls (M-312&M-320
ONLY)
Each MON I TO R se ction contains one of these
controls. AUX 3 is accessed from TAPE R E
T U R N S 1-4, while AUX 4 deri v es signals from
TAPE RETU RNS 5-8. Since the AUX 3 & 4
rece ive the ir signals after, or post, the TAPE
RTN Switch (see the prev ious description), the
setting of this switch dete rm i ne s the signal
processed by the AUX SENDS.

Monitor LEVE L Control
Once the signal sou rce has bee n dete rmined and
selected by the TAPE RTN switch, the ove rall

This leve l is the n sent to the AUX POST circuit
and the MON ITOR PAN control.

As with the channe l PAN controls, the MON I

TOR PAN determines the left-to-r ight placement
of the signal in the MONITOR syste m. The PAN
sends the signal to the STE R EO L E FT and
R I GHT BUSSES.

This sw itch al lows the signal in the MONITOR
