Fitting the child seat in forward-facing
position
For installation, proceed as follows:
- make sure that the release lever
the standby position (retracted);
- align the anchoring points with the
A
brackets B, then push the seat until you
hear it click into place, which indicates it
is secured
- check for correct locking by trying
to move the child seat; the safety
mechanisms, help prevent the child seat
from being improperly fitted if only one
of the attachment fittings is locked.
With this type of configuration, the child is
also restrained by the vehicle seat belts and
by the upper belt.
In any case, see the instruction booklet
provided with the child seat for fitting the
vehicle belts into the seat correctly.

Do not fit an infant seat or child seat
of any kind (whether rearward facing
or frontward facing) on the passenger seat
if the airbag is active, as the child risks
serious injury or death in the case of airbag
deployment.
Deactivate the passenger airbag using the
air bag deactivation control and check

illuminates (see
