LIGHTING AND SIGNALLING DEVICES
The vehicle is equipped with:
- Main switch « B », key operated, for engine ignition (position 1) and for engine cut - out
(position 0 extractabe key) placed on the handlebars, central part, (see fig. 23).
- Switch «C » (on handlebars, R. H.) with lever « D » (high beam and low beam), and with
a horn « E » (see fig. 23).
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
A six pole flywheel magneto - nominal voltage 6 V - supplies alternating current to the
electrical equipment (see diagram fig. 24).
This equipment consists of the following lighting and signalling devices:
Front headlamp, circular shaped diameter 130, with 6 V - 25/25 W bilux bulb (main and
dipped beam) , 6V - 5 W bulb for front parking light and two 6 V - 0.6 W bulb for
speedometer and for lighting system tell tale lamp.
Tail lamp, with 5 W bulb (red parking light and number plate illumination) and 10 W bulb
(red stop light).
Key switch (extractable) placed on the handlebars central part (fig. 23).
Light switch on the headlamp, located on handlebars, R. H. (see fig. 23).
Notice - The lighting and signalling devices function also as security device; indeed if the switch ,
«B» is on the position «0» even acting on the kickstarter the engine doesn't start.
STARTING
Carry out the operations indicated on I fig. 26. Don't use the choke when the f engine is
warm: as soon as the engine is running bring the starter control back to it´s normal
position.
Notice - In case of hard starting see page 15. When push starting should be attempted
(see page 15), first turn switch key (« B » fig. 23) on position 1 (circuit on).
