ARC (Aspect Ratio Control) function
PC Mode
˙ Standard: Sets the aspect ratio to 4:3. There will be black bars to the left and right sides of
the screen.
˙ Fill: Expands the width of 4:3 video sources evenly to fill the 16:9 screen. There will be
distortion as the image is stretched horizontally.
TV / Video Modes
˙ Standard: Sets the aspect ratio to 4:3. There will be black bars to the left and right sides of
the screen.
˙ Fill: Expands the width of 4:3 video sources evenly to fill the 16:9 screen. There will be
distortion as the image is stretched horizontally.
˙ Zoom: Extends the image height to fill the screen by stretching the image vertically.
˙ Subtitle: This zooms up the wide picture (16:9 aspect ratio) with subtitles to the full screen.
˙ Panoramic: This mode expands the width of 4:3 video sources evenly to fill the 16:9 screen.
There will be distortion as all four edges of the image are stretched, creating less distortion at
the center of the screen.
