3. Navigation

This chapter explains how to navigate using the
N.I.C.E. P200.

How global positioning works

The Global Positioning System (GPS) provides
navigation within the United States and Canada.
Unobstructed communication
Chapter 3: Navigation
Obstructions, such as nearby buildings, high terrain,
parking garages and tunnels can inhibit
communication with the satellite.
Obstructions inhibit communications
As the GPS is located in the cradle.
The N.I.C.E. P200 must be installed
in the cradle to communicate with the
GPS satellite.
