Add itional op era tions ⊕
Additional w ork is work tha t is not req uired
every service but can be performed in
conjunction with a regular service.
Time allowances for such w ork are not
included in the scope of regular services
and will b e charged for add itionally. It is
more economic if these operations are
performed as part of a sc heduled service
than having them performed separately.
Severe operati ng conditi ons o
O perating conditions are classified as
severe w hen one or m ore of the following
occurs frequently:
z cold starts,
z stop and go,
z trailer/carav an towing ,
z gradients and/or high altitudes,
z poor road surfaces,
z sand a nd dust,
z extreme temperature fluctuations.
Police vehic les, taxis and d riv ing school
vehicles a re also classified as operating
under severe c onditions.
Und er sev ere operating conditions, it may
be necessary to have certa in scheduled
service work d one more freq uently than the
scheduled interv als.
For example, if fuel is used tha t does not
comply w ith required standards, the fuel
filter may need more frequent draining or
replacement and it m ay also be necessary
to chang e other c om ponents more often
(e.g. spa rk plugs).
It is recomm ended to seek technic al a dvice
on the servicing requirements dependent
on the specific operating conditions of your
vehicle.
Service, m ainten ance
Reco mmended fluids and
lubrican ts
O nly use products that have been tested
and app rov ed. Dam age resulting from the
use of non-approved materials w ill not b e
covered by the warranty.

Warnin g
Operating materia ls a re hazardous and
must b e handled with the a ppropriate
level of care. If consum ed, seek medical
attention immediately. Do not inhale
fum es and av oid sk in contact. Keep out
of reach of children. Do not allow
operating ma terials to contam ina te the
sewage system, surface water, ground
water or soil. Disp ose of empty conta iners
properly. Always bear in mind that
operating ma terials are haz ardous to
your health.
