ADVICE ON ADJUSTING THE DRIVING POSITION
Adjusting the seat
See « Front seats ».
Reach :
Adjust the seat so as to be able to :
-
Fully depress the clutch.
-
Place your right foot on the accelerator and your left foot on the foot
rest for driving.
Your thighs should be supported by the seat cushion.
Backrest angle :
Adjust the angle of the backrest so that your back is comfortably sup-
ported along the full height of the seat. For the seat belts to be fully effec-
tive, do not drive with the backrest inclined excessively.
Head restraint :
For the head restraint to fulfil its role as an effective safety component,
the top of it should be at least as high as the top of the occupant's head
or, failing that, positioned to its maximum height.
Floor mat on driver's side
To avoid your feet becoming jammed under the pedals :
Make sure that the floor mat is correctly positioned.
Never fit more than one floor mat superimposed.
