14. Remove the special tool.
15. Remove the special tool.
16. Connect the electrical connectors.
1. Connect the digital transmission range (TR) sensor electrical connector.
2. Connect the transaxle electrical connector.
3. Connect the wire harness into the bracket.
17. Install the wiper arm and pivot assembly.
18. Install the engine air cleaner inlet assembly. For additional information, refer to
19. NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy.

20. Fill the transaxle assembly with one quart of MERCON ® V Automatic Transmission Fluid XT-5-QM meeting Ford specification MERCON ® V.
21. Start the engine. Move the transaxle range selector lever through all positions. Check the fluid level. For additional information, refer to Fluid Level and Condition
