REplACInG ThE REmoTE bATTERy

To replace the battery, remove the cover from the back of the remote as shown, then replace the old battery
with a new CR 2025. be sure that the + sign on the battery is facing up as shown.

pRoGRAmmInG yoUR vIzIo Tv UnIvERSAl REmoTE

If you own a VIZIO TV with a Universal Remote, you can program a
device button (AUX or AUDIO) to control your Sound bar.
If your remote uses a 5-digit programming code, use code 31517.
If your remote uses a 4-digit code, use 1517. See your TV's User
Manual for instructions on programming the remote.
To set the Universal Remote to control the Sound bar volume instead
of the TV volume:
1. Press and hold the SETUP button on the remote until the light
flashes twice.
2. Press 9, 9, 3. The light flashes twice.
3. Press a device button (DVD, TV, CABLE, etc). The light flashes
twice. The Volume buttons on the Universal Remote now control
the Sound bar while using the device you chose. The table at
right shows which buttons on the Universal Remote are used to
control the Sound bar.
If your remote stops responding, you may need to replace the battery.
