Supplies Monitoring

You have several options for viewing supply levels:
Printer control panel—Message window
Printer control panel—Statistics page
Status Display—Supplies Display display
Windows Control Panel—Printer Properties
PageScope Web Connection—Supplies status
PageScope Web Connection—Statistics page
Printer Control Panel—Message Window
The message window in the printer's control panel clearly shows
approximate toner levels with a gas gauge style display.
The message window also alerts you when the life of a toner cartridge
or the drum cartridge is nearing the end or has ended.
Message
Meaning
(CMYK) TONER LOW The indicated toner cartridge
is low and should be replaced
within about 200 pages.
(CMYK)
The indicated toner
TONER EMPTY
cartridge is empty.
REPLACE (CMYK)
The indicated toner
TONER
cartridge is empty.
OPC DRUM LOW
The drum cartridge
is near the end of its life.
OPC DRUM OUT
The drum cartridge has
reached the end of its life.
REPLACE
The waste toner bottle is full.

Printer Control Panel—Statistics Page
You can also use the control panel to print a Statistics page to review
supply levels. Choose STATISTICS PAGE from the PRINT MENU menu.
