Troubleshooting

If you experience any trouble using your headphones, try the following
troubleshooting instructions.
Problem
No audio/intermittent
Excessive bass
Microphone is not picking up
sound
Phone not responding to remote
(button) presses
Device not responding to
remote
Ear tips falling off
Lost ear tip
Sound is muffled from earpiece
Using the headphones
What to do
• Make sure the headphone cable is securely
connected to the 3.5 mm headphone
connector on the device.
• Try another audio device.
• Turn off any audio enhancement features on
the audio source.
• Make sure you are using a compatible
device. Refer to the list of compatible
devices on page 6.
• Make sure the headphone cable is securely
connected to the 3.5 mm headphone
connector on the device.
• Make sure the microphone opening on
the back of the Answer/End button is not
blocked.
• Try another phone call.
• Try another compatible device.
• Make sure the headphone cable is securely
connected to the 3.5 mm headphone
connector on the device.
• For multi-press functions: Vary speed
of presses.
• Full controls may not be available for some
models.
• Try another compatible device.
• Securely attach the ear tips to the earpiece
and nozzle hook.
• Contact Bose
®
• Clear any debris or wax build-up from the
ear tips and headphones nozzles.
• Make sure the headphone cable is securely
connected to the 3.5 mm headphone
connector on the device.
• Try another compatible device.
