Replacing a PCI adapter card

This section provides information on how to remove and replace a PCI adapter
card.
To remove or replace the PCI adapter card, do the following:
1. Remove cover. See "Removing the cover" on page 117.
2. Open the adapter latch and remove the failing adapter.
3. Remove the new adapter from its static-protective package.
4. Install the new adapter into the appropriate connector on the system and close
5. Go to "Completing the FRU replacement" on page 141.
