Index

You can join multiple images together, display them as an index
print, and save the index print as a new image.

Select p (Index) in the playback mode palette.
The [Index] screen appears.

Press the 5 key and select a
layout.
o Thumbnail
r Random2
p Square
s Random3
q Random1
p Bubble
When you select o, images are positioned in order starting from
the smallest file number.

Select [Images], press the 5 key, and select the
number of images.
You can select 12, 24 or 36 images.

Select [Backgrnd.], press the 5 key, and select
the background color.
You can select a white or black background.

Select [Selection], press the 5 key, and select the
type of image selection.

Select [Create an index image].
Create an index image
After the message [Data being processed] appears, the index

image is displayed.

Select [Save] or [Reshuffle].

After the index image is saved, the camera returns to Playback
mode and the index image is displayed.
Memo
• Processing may take a while when creating an index image.
• When the number of saved images is smaller than the number set
for [Images], empty spaces will appear in [Thumbnail] layout and
some images may be duplicated in other layouts.

Lets you select the images individually.

Continue by selecting [Select image(s)] and select
the individual images.
Automatically selects images from the selected
folder.

Continue by selecting [Select a folder] and select
the folder.
The index image is saved with [Recorded Pixels] set to
a and [Quality Level] set to C.
Reselects the images and displays a new index image.
(If [Thumbnail] is selected for [Layout], this is not
displayed.)
