Mow the lawn twice weekly during the most active periods of growth.

Never cut more than 1/3 of the length of the grass, especially during dry
periods. Mow with a high cutting height setting the first time. Examine
the result and lower the mower to the desired setting. Mow slowly or
mow the grass twice if it is very long.
