Daily operation of the set – adjusting the picture/contrast, brightness, sharpness
Adjusting the contrast:

Adjusting the picture

You may want to adjust the contrast, brightness or intensity of colour occasionally
depending on the light conditions in the room. The remote control can be used for making
all these adjustments. Only the volume, contrast and intensity of colour can be adjusted on
the set's local control panel.

contrast can be adjusted with the

The value for the contrast adjustment
depends on the brightness of the room.
Rule of thumb: The brighter the
environment, the higher the contrast must
be set.
A numeric value is displayed as a
guide when adjusting the contrast or
brightness and so on.

We also recommend you to select the
<S-Contrast> function for Photo-CD-Show;
keep the Contrast button
until the value 62 is displayed, release
briefly and then press
Contrast> is displayed on the screen. This
will give you the best picture quality!
Note: You should not set <S-Contrast> for
freeze frames because this could cause
burn marks on the picture tube.
