Resetting and Locking Your Phone if Lost or Stolen

If your phone is lost or stolen, it can be remotely locked and your
important personal information (such as phone book entries,
call history and messages), erased.
To report your phone missing, call Telecom Customer Services
on 0800 651 000. As well as locking the phone, all personal
information will be permanently erased. To minimise the
inconvenience of losing your phone book details, please keep a
record of the information.
You will be asked for your phone's pass code. The default is the
11 digit decimal ESN which can be found on the back of the
phone, underneath the battery. Once locked, your phone will
then display the following message: "If found, please call
Telecom Customer Services on 0800 651 000"
Should you recover or find your phone, you will need to take it
to a Telecom Dealer. The Dealer will send the phone to a Sanyo
approved Service Centre for unlocking. Please note: A service
fee may apply.
