Onkyo USA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Onkyo) hereby wa rrants all Onkyo brand products PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM
On kyo OR FROM AN INDEPENDENT On kyo AUTHORIZED DEALER in the UNITED STATES,

From t h e date o f o rig inal consumer purchase and for the respective per iods specified above, On kyo agrees to repair, at its sole exp ense, all On kyo brand
product s purchased d irectly from On kyo or from an Independent Onkyo Authorized Dealer, w hich are defective in material and/or workma nship during
o rd inary consum er use. Repa irs m ay be complet ed using new or refurbished parts that meet or exceed On kyo specifications for new pa rts. On kyo, at its sole
discret io n, may replace a product , w ith a ref urbished or reconditioned unit having com pa rable feat ures and a li mit ed consumer warranty.
EXCLUSIONS:
IF YOU PURCHASE AN Onkyo BRAND PRODUCT FROM AN UNAUTHORIZED DEALER, YOUR Onkyo WARRANTY MAY NOT BE VALID,
please use our authorized dealer locator.
This Warranty does not apply with respect to or cover the following :
1. Defects or damage caused by accident, fire/smoke, flood /water dam age, p ower surge {or related electrical abnormal ities), ligh t ning o r other acts of nature.
2. Defect s or dam age cau sed by abuse, misuse, negligence, accident, unauthorized product modifica tion or service, o r fail ure to ob serve t he inst ructions
contained in the manual furnished at the time o f o rigi nal purchase.
3. Deterioration/ fail ure due to corrosive atmosphere, including but not lim ited to; smoke, high hum id ity or extreme temperature.
4. Dam age ca used during sh ipment or hand ling.
5. Products purchased from anyone ot her than On kyo or an Independent On kyo Authorized Dealer. If you are uncertain as t o whether a dea ler is au thorized,
please contact On kyo's Customer Relat ions Department or check the Dealer and Ser v ice Locator.
6. Products that have had their serial nu mbe rs altered or removed.
7. Product s pu rchased in "AS IS" condit io n o r noted as "DEMO'; "DISPLAY'; "OPEN BOX': or ~C L EA RA N CE':
8. Products that have been alt ered or repaired by anyone other than On kyo or an On kyo authorized independent serv ice stati on in a manner that has
affected their performance, stabil ity or reliabil ity.
9. Accessories attac hed to or to be used w ith Onkyo product s, such as anten nas, batteries, cables, etc.
10. Any prod uct attac hed to or used w ith the On kyo Product.
11. Packi ng materials and cosmetic items.
12. Parts w hich have presc ribed useful li ves dep ende nt upon t he deg ree of their use, such as styli, cassette heads, idle r wheels, batte ries, etc.
13. Installation and rem oval of On kyo products, setup, adjustments or signal reception issues.
14. Main tenance, cleaning or period ic check-ups.
1 5. Adjustments or alterations requ ired for compat ibi lity w it h cond iti ons pertaining to fore ig n countries.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE:
To obta in warranty service, t ake or shi p you r On kyo product to an Onkyo Authorized Independent Service Center, together w ith a note describing your
com plaint and your copy of the dated pu rchase receipt. Repairs are not performed at ou r headquarters; all repairs must be performed by our On kyo
Authorized In dependent Se rvice Centers. For a li st of On kyo Authorized Independent Service Centers please go to; www.o nkyousa.com, under, Support.
Please also include in any mail ing; a cont act name, address and email address or telephone number. If you choose to shi p your On kyo product to an On kyo
Authorized Independent Service Center. all sh ipping arrangements must be made by you and all sh ipping charges and insurance must be fu lly prepa id. Any
On kyo product shipped in its entirety must be properly pac kaged to avo id sh ipping damage. Any sh ipping damage incurred as a result o f im proper or
insufficient packaging wil l be t h e responsibility of the shipper. On kyo wi ll pay all return shipping cha rges for On kyo products that have been serviced under
this warranty. Any serv ice or repa ir fo r items not covered by th is li mited warranty shall be at t he Authorized Independent Service Center's rates an d terms then
in effect. Contact an On kyo Authorized Independent Service Center for detai ls.
LIMITATIONS:
Onkyo m akes th is warrant y subject to t he fol lowi n g limi ta ti ons:
1. This limited Warranty is valid on ly wit hin the continental United States of America, Hawai i and Alaska. To be covered by t his warra nty the On kyo product
concerned must have been purchased d irectly from On kyo or an Independent On kyo Authorized Dealer and t he person seeking warranty service must
reside in one of the states of th e Uni ted States of America or in the District of Columbia. This w arranty ext ends only to the original retai l purchaser and
cannot be t ransferred to anyone.
2. On kyo SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR SP ECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THE RESPONSIBILITY OF On kyo UNDER THIS
WARRANTY SHALL BE LIM ITED TO THE REPA IR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE On kyo PRODUCTS BY On kyo OR ITS AUTHORIZED INDEPENDENT SERVICE
CENTERS.
3. This warranty is valid only with respect to repairs affected by On kyo or an On kyo author ized independent service center.
4. ALL WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THE EXPRESS WARRANTY HEREIN CONTA INED INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT
ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and some states do not allow t he excl usion or limitation
of
incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation s or exc lusion rnay not app ly to you. Th is warran ty g ives you specilic lega l rig hts and you may also have other
rights that va ry from st ate to state.

during ordi nary consumer use. Repa irs may be completed using new or refurbished pa rts t hat meet or exceed On kyo specifications fo r new parts. On kyo, at
its sole discreti on, may replace a product , with a refurbished or recon ditioned unit having compa rable featu res.
EXCLUSIONS:

4. Damage caused du ring shipment or hand li ng.

10. Any product attached to or used wi th t he On kyo brand product.
11. Packing materials and cosmetic items.
12. Parts which have prescribed usefu l lives dependent upon t he degree of their use, such as styli, cassette heads, id ler w heels, batteries, et c.
13. Insta llation and removal of On kyo brand produc ts, set up, adjustment s o r signal recept ion issues.
14. Ma intenance, clea ning or periodic chec k-ups.
1 5. Adjustment s or alte rations required for compati bi lity with cond itio ns pertaini ng to foreign countries.
16. Loss of, damage to or corruption of stored program or data.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE:
To obtain warranty se rvice, take or sh ip your On kyo brand prod uct to an On kyo Au tho rized Independent Service Cente r, together w it h a note desc ribing Your
complaint and you r orig inal dated pu rchase recei p t. Repa irs are not performed at our headquarters; all repa irs must be performed by our Onkyo Authorized
Independent Service Centers. For a list of On kyo Aut horized Independent Service Cent ers please go to; www.onkyo.ca, under, Support. Please also in clude in
any mailing; a contact name, add ress and ema il add ress or telephone number. If you choose to sh ip your On kyo b rand product to an On kyo Aut horized
Independent Service Center, all sh ipping arrangements must be made by you and all shipping charges and insurance must be fully prepa id. Any On kyo brand
product shipped must be properly packaged to avoid shipping damage. Any damage incurred as a result of improper or insuffic ient packaging w ill be t he
responsibility of the customer or the shipper. On kyo wil l pay all return shi pping cha rges for On kyo brand products that have been serviced under t his warranty.
Any service or repair for items not covered by this limited wa rranty shall be at the Authorized Independent Serv ice Center's rates and terms t hen in effect.

LIMITATIONS:
On kyo makes th is warranty subject to t he fo ll owing limitations:
1. This limited Warranty is valid only with in Ca nada. To be covered by this w arran t y the On kyo brand product concerned must have been purchased directly
from On kyo or an Independent On kyo Authorized Dealer in Canada and the person seeking warranty se rvice must res ide in Canada. This warranty extends
only to the original reta il purchaser meeting the above requ iremen ts and cannot be transferred to anyone.
2. On kyo SHA LL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR SPECIA L. INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS, DE EMED OR
IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION. OR FOR LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO OR CORRUPTION OF ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH THE PRODUCT.
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF On kyo UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS AND SHA LL BE LIMITED TO THE REPA IR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE On kyo PRODUCTS BY
On kyo OR ITS AUTHOR IZED INDEPENDENT SERVICE CENTERS.
This warranty is valid only with respect to repa irs made by On kyo or an On kyo authorized independent service center.
EXCEPTTOTHE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW. ANY IMPLIED CONDITION OR WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. OR DEEMED CONDITION OR WARRANTY UNDER APPLICABLE CONSUMER LAW, IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO TH E APPLICABLE WAR RANTY PERIOD
SET FORTH ABOVE
