Type Classification

Your Powerchair is a Class B (EN12184) and Class 2 (Road Traffic Act) available with a maximum speed of
4mph for use only on pavements, footpaths, pedestrian zones and areas free from motor traffic. It is not
allowed on the highway except for the purpose of crossing. Under no circumstance must the top speed of the
Powerchair be increased, to do so will infringe the 'The Use of Invalid Carriages on Highways Regulations
1988, Statutory Instrument 1988 No. 2268'
