Polaris Extended Service Contract
Coverage Exclusions (continued):
DFailures caused by improper fuel or oil.
DFailures caused due to improper adjustments, including but not limit-
ed to carburetor jetting and clutching.
DFailure due to unauthorized service.
DFailures due to lack of service as specified in the Owner's Manual or
Polaris updates. This includes off-season storage as listed in the
Owner's Manual.
DFailure due to unauthorized parts or modifications.
DNormal wear parts, including but not limited to: spark plugs, hoses,
batteries, controls, and recoil ropes. Gaskets and intake and ex-
haust manifolds are covered (excluding paint coverage).
DElectrical coverage is limited to the CD and ECU box, coils, stator
plate, and sensors. Wiring and other electrical components are ex-
cluded from coverage.
DOil injection system coverage is limited to the control module, sen-
sors, solenoids, pump, and throttle cable switch.
DCooling system coverage is limited to the water pump assembly and
components, fan, fan bearings, temperature sensor, gasket and
seals.
DNon-wear related carburetor parts are covered. Carburetor jetting and
adjustments are excluded from coverage. The fuel pump and
choke are covered.
DClutches and related clutch parts, including but not limited to the
drive belt, are excluded from coverage.
DElectrical components are excluded from coverage.
DThe gearcase and transmission are excluded from coverage.
