Place tab on bag door into slot in
lower front of cleaner. Close door.
NOTE: Cloth bag may be washed in
warm water. It must be thoroughly
dry before replacing it in the
cleaner.

Secondary filter

Disconnect cleaner from electrical
outlet.
The secondary filter protects the
motor from dirt particles. It is
located on the back wall behind the
bag. When bag is removed, check
the filter (it is not removable).
Loosen dirt with a small brush and
wipe off dirt particles with a slightly
damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.

Rug and floor nozzle
To maintain the cleaning eff e c t i v e n e s s
of your rug and floor nozzle, the
brushes may need to be replaced
occasionally.
See your nearest Hoover Factory
Service Center or Authorized
Warranty Dealer (Depot) for
new brushes.

Lubrication

The motor is equipped with two
bearings that contain sufficient
lubrication for the life of the motor.
The addition of lubricant could cause
damage. There f o re, do not add
lubricant to either motor bearing.
