What if...
The camera does not play any sounds?
Pressing the
MENU
button while turning on the camera power will turn off all
sounds except for warning sounds. To turn the sounds on, press the
MENU
button, select the
tT
tab, and then select [Mute]. Use the
~ ~
buttons to select
[Off].
The image comes out dark even if the flash fired when shooting?
Your subject is too far away. When the camera is at maximum wide angle,
move
about 30 cm - 3.0 m (12 in. - 9.8 ft.) away from your subject and shoot.
Move
about 30 cm - 2.0 m (12 in. - 6.6 ft.) or more away when the camera is at
maximum telephoto.
The camera beeps once when the shutter button is pressed halfway?
Your subject is too close. When the camera is at maximum wide angle,
move
about 4 cm (1.6 in.) or more away from your subject and shoot.
Move
about
25 cm (9.8 in.) or more away when the camera is at maximum telephoto.
The lamp lights when the shutter button is pressed halfway.
To reduce
red-e~'e
and to assist in focusing, the lamp may light when shooting in
dark areas.
