Congratulations
Congratulations and thank you for choosing our built in
oven. We are sure you will find your new oven a pleasure
to use. Before you use the oven, we recommend that you
read through the whole user manual, which provides the
description of the built in oven and its functions.
To avoid the risks that are always present when you use an
electric appliance, it is important that the oven is installed
correctly and that you read the safety instructions carefully
to avoid misuse and hazards.
We recommend that you keep this user manual for future
reference and pass it on to any future owners.
After unpacking the built in oven please check it is not
damaged. If in doubt, do not use the appliance but contact
your local Electrolux Customer Care Centre.
This appliance complies with requirements of Australian
Standard AS/NZ 60335.2.6

Installation, cleaning and servicing

Child safety
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons

instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person

• C hildren should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
• D uring use this appliance becomes hot. Care should
be taken to avoid touching hot surfaces, e.g. oven door,
heating elements.
• A ccessible parts will also become hot when in use.
To avoid burns and scalds children should be kept away.

General warnings
• This appliance must not be used as a space heater.
• I n order to avoid fire, the appliance must be kept clean
and vents kept unobstructed.
• D o not spray aerosols within the vicinity of the appliance
during operation.
• D o not store flammable materials in or under the
appliance, e.g. aerosols.
• D o not line the bottom of the oven with foil or cookware.
• A lways use gloves when handling hot items inside
the oven.
• A lways turn the grill off immediately after use as fat left
behind may catch fire.
Grill
• D o not cover the grill insert with foil, as fat left there may
catch fire.
• A lways keep the grill dish clean as any fat there may
catch fire.
• Do not leave the grill on unattended.
• T o avoid fire, ensure that grill trays and fittings are always
inserted into the appliance in accordance with the
instructions.
• D o not place thick portions of food under the grill.
Foods may curl, catch and ignite.
• A ccessible parts may become hot when grill is in use.
Children should be kept away.
Oven
• D uring use the appliance becomes hot. Care should be
taken to avoid touching the hot surfaces inside the oven.
• S witch the appliance off before removing the oven light
glass for globe replacement.
• T o avoid an accident, ensure that oven shelves and
fittings are always inserted into the appliance in
accordance with the instructions.
• Do not use the door as a shelf.
• Do not push down on the open oven door.

To maintain safe operation, it is recommended that
the product be inspected every five years by an
authorised service person.
environmental tip
To save energy and to help protect the environment,
we recommend these hints:
• U se the oven efficiently, by cooking many trays of food
at the same time.
- Cook 2 trays of scones, small cakes or sausage rolls
at the same time.
• Select the correct shelf location for food being cooked.
• Do not open the oven door more than necessary.
• U se the smaller oven cavity (if you have an EUEE63CS &
EUEE63CK) in preference to the main oven cavity.
