Coolant Temperature Warning Light
When the coolant temperature reaches a specific level, this
light AK illuminates to warn the rider that the coolant has
become too hot. If the light comes on during riding, stop
the engine as soon as it is safe to do so, and allow the
engine to cool down (approximately 10 minutes).
Do not run the engine on your scooter if the indica-
tor light indicates that the coolant temperature is too
high. Following a cool down period of ten minutes,
verify that the warning light is off before riding your
scooter. Continuous use while the warning light is
on may result in engine damage.
Oil Level Indicator Light
If the engine oil level drops below a level that is safe for the
engine to operate, this light AL will illuminate to warn the
rider. If the low oil level light comes on during riding, stop
riding and turn off the engine. Add enough of the recom-
mended engine oil so that the oil level reaches the upper
level mark (see page 25).
Do not run the engine is the low oil level indicator light
is illuminated. Add oil to the engine immediately. Con-
tinuous use while the low oil level indicator light is on
may result in severe engine damage.
Digital Clock & Trip-meter
Use the following instructions to set the digital clock and
odometer display on your People S scooter. The odometer
can be toggled between "miles" or "kilometers", has a
resettable trip meter, and a mileage-based service reminder
feature.

Changing the odometer/trip-
meter from "Miles" to "Kilome-
ters":
Press and hold the Mode But-
ton 3 3 3 3 3 for two seconds to switch
between "miles" or "kilometers"
display on the odometer/trip-
meter.
