7.1 Recording a programme

Recording and Playing

The digital receiver allows you to record television programmes
into an external hard disk drive via the USB port.
NOTE
You must connect a external hard disk drive to the USB port on
the back of the digital receiver before everything. The hard disk
drive should have its own power supply. Because the digital
receiver cannot supply enough power to run the external hard
disk drive through the USB port.
You can record a service while watching another with the TF
7700 HCCI digital receiver.
Once recording has started, a symbol like the left
figure will be displayed at the top right of the screen
for a few seconds.
When you are watching a service different from the service
being recorded, you can view a number on the centre of the
symbol.
