Problems
The machine fails to turn on
The coffee is not hot enough
No hot water or steam
The coffee is dispensed too slowly
The coffee is dispensed quickly
The machine spends a lot of time to warm
up, and the quantity of water dispensed
from the pipe is reduced.
The dispensing unit cannot be removed
The coffee comes out from the dispen-
sing unit.
The coffee is not frothy.
Some water comes out from the drip
tray.
Causes
The machine is not connected to the mains. Connect the machine to the mains
Cups are cold
Steam pipe clogged
Coffee too fine
Dispensing unit dirty
Coffee too coarse.
Low dose.
Presence of scale in the machine circuit.
The dispensing unit is not in the correct
position.
Coffee grounds drawer in.
The dispensing unit is not in the correct
position.
Dispensing unit clogged.
The blend is not suitable, or the coffee is not
freshly made.
The coffee is coarse.
Drip tray full.

Remedies
Warm up the cups
Clean the steam pipe nozzle with a pin.
Change the coffee blend
Turn the grinding control knob to a higher value
(par.5).
Decrease the dose (par.6).
Wash the dispensing unit
Change the coffee blend.
Turn the grinding control knob to a lower value.
Increase the dose (par.6).
Descale.
Turn on the machine. Close the front cover; the unit s
now in its initial position and can be removed.
Remove the coffee grounds drawer.
Re-position the dispensing unit.
Remove the dispensing unit, and wash it.
Change the coffee blend.
Adjust grinding.
Check the float position, and empty the drip tray.
