Courtesy Headlight
Feature
The Courtesy Headlight Feature allows head-
lights to remain on for 30 seconds after you exit
the vehicle.
1 Remove the ignition key.
2 Open the driver's door.
3 Pull the turn signal indicator switch towards
you and release (as if you were flashing your
lights).
4 Exit the car and close the driver's door. The
headlights will go on and remain on for
30 seconds.
(See your Owner's Manual, section Instruments
and controls).
NOTE: This feature can be programmed by your
dealer for different lengths of activation time.
Cooled glove
compartment
The glove compartment can be cooled by the air
conditioning. Cold air can be directed to the
glove compartment for keeping drinks cool, etc.
Slide the cover towards you to allow cold air to
enter the glovebox.
(See your Owner's Manual, section Interior
equipment and trunk).

Headlight levelling 3

Cars with xenon headlights have automatic
levelling. Depending on how the car is loaded,
the headlights are continually levelled to avoid
blinding drivers in oncoming traffic.
(See your Owner's Manual, section Instruments
and controls).
NIGHTPANEL
In this mode, the amount of information
displayed on the dashboard is reduced to avoid
unnecessary driver distraction. When NIGHT
PANEL has been selected, only the speedome-
ter will be illuminated. All other lighting will be
switched off and you will note the needles in the
main instrument panel zero out. All indicator,
warning lights and messages will appear if
required.
(See your Owner's Manual, section Instruments
and controls).
