Locks
1 Lock all doors/setting the alarm
2 Unlock all doors/disarm the alarm
First press: Unlock the driver's door
Second press: Unlock the rest of the doors
3 To open the trunk (Sedan)
Unlock the tailgate (SportCombi)
Central locking (operated from inside the car)
Panic-function
Activate:
• Push and hold one of the buttons on the key
for 2 seconds or...
• Push the LOCK-switch on the center console
for 2 seconds.
These actions will trigger the alarm.
Deactivate:
• Push one of the buttons on the key or...
• Push the LOCK-switch on the center console
or...
• Turn the key in the driver's door or...
• Turn the ignition to ON.
Child safety lock on rear doors
Engage the child safety lock by using the key.
Turn 45° as shown on the label on the door.
When the child safety catch is in the locked posi-
tion, the door can only be opened from the
outside.

ABS-brakes
Press the pedal down hard and steer to avoid an
obstacle if required.
Do not release the brake pedal before the car
has come to a halt or the danger is past!
