7.4.2 Hard Disk Boot Priority

This field is used to select the boot sequence of the hard
drives. Move the cursor to this field then press <Enter>. Use
the Up or Down arrow keys to select a device then press<+>
to move it up or <-> to move it down the list.
Virus Warning
This item protects the boot sector and partition table of your hard
disk against accidental modifications. If an attempt is made, the
BIOS will halt the system and display a warning message. If this
occurs, you can either allow the operation to continue or run an
anti-virus program to locate and remove the problem.
NOTE: Many disk diagnostic programs, which attempt
to access the boot sector table, can cause the virus
warning. If you will run such a program, disable the
Virus Warning feature.
Quick Power On Self Test
nabling this setting will cause the BIOS power-on self test
E
routine to skip some of its tests during boot up. One of the key
things this setting usually does when enabled is cause the
POST to skip checking all of extended memory for errors.
