MONITORING GUIDELINES

After thermal images appear, the camera will begin to monitor its range of coverage.

the section detailing how the camera is operated on page 18.
During monitoring, the SCB-9050/9051 will capture heat sources and display the resulting

1. In a severe change of the ambient temperature during the monitoring, set the mode to Auto and set the
interval to less than 5 minutes in the NUC menu setup.
2. Always carry out an NUC whenever sunlight or high temperature objects are within the fi eld

4. When the camera is used continuously for a long period of time, pay attention to the buildup
of dirt on the lens. A dirty lens may result in phenomena such as shortened detection
distances.
5. Even if the same item is being monitored, changes in environmental conditions such as rain
and fog will affect detection distance. While operating the camera be aware of how such
changes may infl uence detection distance.
6. During the monitoring, make sure to comply with the use guidelines mentioned above.
