File Backup on a Macintosh

USB 2.0 connector is required.
OS:
Mac OS X (10.4.4 to 10.4.11, 10.5.1)
RAM:
At least 512 MB
(1 GB or more recommended)

Software Installation

Preparation:
Quit any other software you are using.

Load the provided CD-ROM into the
PC.

Double-click the CD-ROM icon.

Double-click the QuickTime
Component for Everio icon.

Install the software following the
procedures shown in the screen.
Connecting the Camera to the
Macintosh
Preparation:
Set the camera's power/mode switch to OFF.

NOTES
Never disconnect the USB cable while the
access/charge lamp on the camera lights or
blinks.
Do not turn off the camera when the USB
cable is connected, to prevent malfunctions
of the computer.
Connect the camera directly to the
computer, not through a hub.
Do not use an extension USB cable.
Do not delete, move, or rename the fi les and
folders in the camera from the computer.
