Setting Up Your Phone

Refer to the following sections to insert and charge the battery and set up the phone.

Battery usage

Please follow the safety instructions below while using the battery.

Use only a Sonim certified battery that is designed for this phone model. The use of
other batteries may void the warranty terms of your phone and cause damage.

Protect the phone battery from extreme temperature environments and moisture.
●
Keep the battery out of the reach of children.

Inserting the Battery

Complete the following steps to insert a Sonim certified battery into your Sonim XP STRIKE
phone.
1. Rotate both battery cover screws in counter clockwise direction (as shown in the figure).
You can use the screwdriver provided. Sometimes the screws may be tight and extra
effort is required to open them.
2. Lift the battery cover to view the battery slot.
