7. On the Advanced tab you will find a list of properties. To
communicate with SMC 11 Mbps Wireless devices, set the
"Authentication Type" to "Shared Key."
Note: Products from some other vendors may use the setting

"Open System." Use the same setting as the other
devices in your network.
